breastfeeding pumpkin in bradford, MA- of course i had to stop and take a picture, despite the nasty glarestoday i am grateful for YOU.
we have spent the night and the morning discussing what we are grateful for. the responses range from the serious (family, health) to the not-so-serious (gray this morning explained that she was grateful for 'tigloos', which is what we call our toes, and when asked why, she said 'because they talk to me'). reading christmas stories out loud. watching the thanksgiving day parade. drinking coffee. all snuggling on the couch. slowly cooking the meal which we will serve to our loved ones- my mom, and dad and his girlfriend, and best friend, and brother, to be followed by a house-full of dessert guests. i love that my divorced parents are coming to thanksgiving at my home together SLASH am terrified that it's going to be stressful. but hopefully everything will turn out wonderful- i'm just excited to eat some food and drink some drinkies. i'm also wearing a size freakin' four (mind you, i've NEVER taken a size four- i'm a size tenner all the way usually) gap jeans gifted to me by my mother-in-law- so i'm thankful for that. or thankful for the peeps that sized the damn jeans wrong.
here's hoping your day is filled with endless pints, bowls full of goodies, and sitting in front of the (electric) fireplace- and if it's not, then come on over. everyone's invited.

This pumpkin was beautiful--on our last hike, I found a "birthing tree" and my camera batteries died right on the spot. (I know where it is though, and I will get that shot yet). I'm thankful to have found so many great blogs lately--yours included. I hope you have a perfect day.

I love the pumpkin shot!! I'm baking cornbread for the stuffing and trying to scramble here because I'm not the best planned cook! We watched the parade while our houseguests went to watch in the freezing flesh and I'm hoping the weather clears up for tomorrow's adventure.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Great photo

Happy thanksgiving nina and family. I'm on my way over for dessert...see you around 3am! Hope you are still up.
Happy Thanksgiving Gilberts! We wish you tons of love and happiness. We should have come today. We were halfway to RI when we found out one of Brian's cousin's has a bad case of bronchitis, so we turned around and had chicken, mashed pots and corn at home. Poultry is poultry right. But Thanksgiving in reality is about love and family and that is who I'm with right now.
Love you all,
Steph
Happy Turkey Day to my favorite mama! Thank you for the wonderful surprise you sent me in the mail. I was so excited when I opened it and will think of you each time I listen to the CD! Thank you :)
Much love to you and your family,
Tabatha :)
Happy Thanksgiving, darlin'!
Happy belated gobble gobble.....I decided to go way easy on the stuffing thanks to your inadvertant advice.....and I really liked the spinach recipe. Lots and lots of wine and experimental shots insisted upon by Joel... from weird bottles of alcohol I brought back from Korea and Japan. Happy happy!
