john will appreciate my writing about driving to the beach and my discussion of highway vs. backroads, which we still have today.
every time i look back upon these pages, i realize that i was one angsty little girl. i'm glad i grew out of labeling everything either "cool" or "stupid". everything was so black or white. even though i was angsty i hope i was still a sweet girl to those around me...maybe i was just venting in the diary.

Love the perspective and time impact of your journal, and journal's from childhood. That sentence isn't too clear, please forgive me. I also love the fact that you wrote about your husband, back in the day. Who knew, or maybe you did, where you the little girl who though about her wedding and life post living with parents? I think it is great that you have something to either share with Gray-C when she is ten, or something to reference back to and understand her stages are as they shoul be. Sunny Day. HALA
I love reading old diaries, I try and do it every couple of years for a little reminiscing and laughs! Time goes by so fast that a diary is our only way of remembering the old times!
This is precious.
I wish I had my journals from that long ago. I foolishly burned a bunch of middle school through college diaries when I moved in with this guy in 1994. I thought he would read them and I wasn't comfortable enough with myself at the time to handle that.
Duh! Lesson learned!
man, don't worry be happy on tape - those were the DayS!
these are so fun :)
i love this! i remember you letting me read your diary when i was probably like 12 (i thought you were the coolest then and i still do!). it was such a huge thing and i remember thinking you had the BEST handwriting! too funny.
you were always sweet to me by the way!!!
thanks so much for a peek throught the window to your past...and thank you mostly for the chuckle (how funny were you!?!)

Amazing that you still have them! My mom is a thrower-outer so I only have my memories (sniff)!
I just received your wonderful package and it made my day (which was full of tantrums and me on the verge of tears). The muppet card is the coolest and Jack has been sportin' his stickers all day! The pin was immediately put on my bag :) My camera is still broken and I am cursing that I can't post pics of it. I am so impressed by the people I have met in this crazy online world, great Mamas and great people! I'm takin' a break from the blog for a bit while we are moving, but I will be back soon!

this is priceless! i never recorded my thoughts enough throughout the years, but have still kept what diaries i've tried to create. hilarious stuff! i think we were all a little angsty back then, and still now but in a more complex way.
love it!
I enjoyed reading your entire 5th, 6th and 7th grade diaries last night. Can we read more tonight. You've got to put the post in there about all the people that "like" each other and the lines connecting them, so hilarious! I love you.
