today i spent the day
at the sewing machine
creating things
and then in a blueberry filed
picking blueberries
with my family
and then
at whole foods
sniffing things
and eating a delicious healthy lunch
and now
i'm having
a moment
of alone time
while the kids
take a walk
around the block
with daddy
so pretty much
life is good

life is good in our woods as well -an afternoon alone while my girl spends time at the pool with her daddy.
cups of tea and the windows open for the first time in weeks, no air conditioning.
a trip to the beach planned and one more week of camp so there's time for this mama to purge and spring clean.

we're finally done with the big events i was in charge of. a four day reunion for 55 people and then this last weekend camping and all the food for 80 people from my church. i'm tired but i'm happy and feeling satisfied.
we are currently eating blueberry pancakes and preparing for a nap before harmony's birthday party. wish you and your tribe could join us.
tonight we will be singing happy songs, eating cookie dough icecream, served alongside pink cake with sprinkles.

Life is good! (Though we aren't doing enough healthy eating here. I'm being stalked by this guy named Chocolate and his buddy Carmel Sundae With Extra Jimmies. Every time they get too close, I bite them like a wild coyote! They tried sending their friends Ben and Jerry to kick my a$$...and, well, I took care of them too!)

Life is blessed. Love the new banner. My life has been filled with tons of old friends and new, getting my hands in the earth and gardening, and starting my next educational adventure (visual arts).
