i had this moment
where i was like
oh crap!
it's less than a month until squam
but there's so much
other stuff
going on
that i feel like i'm not going to be
adequately prepared
to get as much as i
fully can
out of the experience
for example
when am i going to go out
and buy supplies
and create gifties
and pack
and mentally prepare to bathe in the goodness of all my goddesses?
before squam
we've got fifty parties
dance camp
three thousand doctor appointments
and then there's grace's first day of kindergarten
on the actual day that i leave, the 10th.
does anyone out there
feel so overwhelmed
with regular life
that
you worry
that you won't be able
to fully immerse
in the extra special stuff?
or does that just happen naturally?
please help.
(and also, i'd love to hear who else out there will be going...maybe that will make me feel better!)

Holy Lobezos, Lobezos, Lobezos, Lobezos, Lobezos, Lobezos, Lobezos, Lobezos.
dude, i get sick that i'm not going to squam. there will be lovely goddesses indeed. and the art classes, swoon.
i definitely get overwhelmed that regular life goodness is getting in the way of the fun.
i'm flying to cali on saturday and the week is packed with fun so even just packing has to be crammed in!
so wish i was bailing on the going back to work thing and joining you for squam. so wish. imagine hanging for several days. ahhh. would be like a dream.
i miss you,
xo,
A...
oh, and i have already mentioned, i am completely overwhelmed and in way over my head. with you ALL the way mama.
xoxo.
dude, taking a shower is a luxury lately -- if you can squeeze that in, you are doing better than me!! Squam sounds totally awesome. I hope you have an amazing time and I can't wait to hear your experiences. I just cried at the sentence of Grace and kindergarten. Yikes!! If you need someone to go to coffee and cry with that day, I'm your girl.
xoxox,
Steph
oh man, how I would love to go with you to squam!! but alas, i feeling much the same way you are- a tad overwhelmed with it all.
and with the new babe knock knock knockin' on my cervix door it just adds to it all.
deep, slow, breaths....

it is amazing how life just is busy. i was catching up with a friend and when she said, "so what's new?" i felt like i had nothing to say. how do you convey that everything is new and everything is the same?
anyway, i wanted to speak up and wave my arms and say, "i will be there!!!" what classes are you taking? it probably won't take too long to get your supplies together...maybe it will just be one power trip to michaels!
it is going to be great. you will be able to soak it up...especially because you are aware that you want to. i am giving myself permission to let go of the need for the experience to look a certain way so that i can just enjoy myself and take it all in.
amen sista. i've abandoned the thought of actual gifties or even ATC's for people (whatever those are!) i just have to get my supplies and get myself there. or my head will explode. ha! no really.
(((hugs)))
The other day I was thinking again about going to squam. It is difficult for me to justify spending the money. Even though the only person I would be justifing it to would be myself ~
I might just go to vendor night to say hi to everyone~
All the reasons I had for not going (like Ethan starting Kindergarten and having to go to court that week) just don't seem as urgent now that the date is getting closer.
I know you will have such a fabulouscious time!
and yes I feel overwhelmed on almost a daily babis and some days on an hourly basis. Days I let myself listen to music and justBe and much better. No one really cares my house is a mess and if they do, is it really that big a deal?
Love you!
Melba
i'm in certain denial and time seems to moving at lightening speed...
i'm holding out hope that all i need to do is get myself there, with as many supplies as possible and everything else will just fall into place.
i'm so looking forward to this time away...on my own...
surrounded my lovelies and a whole lot of goodness.
i can't wait to hug you!!!
